About Gicle'e:
The Gicle'e printing process is considered to be one of today's top methods for producing the highest quality of prints. Gicle'e prints are a leap in the printmaking technology, generated with archival quality inks onto a variety of substrates, from photo-base paper to canvas. Its reproduction of color is one of the most accurate in the printing field.
Prior to the development of the Gicle'e printing technique, traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes were the standard for prints used by art galleries and museums. The Gicle'e printing process has become more and more commonly used and is quickly establishing itself as the leading method in the artistic field.
Since most of the artists in the series do not create an actual hardcopy of their work, the Gicle'es offer a solution by producing a high quality vibrant medium for display.
